111 क्रमांक अखेर वोडाफोनने बदलला :

• 111 क्रमांक हा आपत्कालीन क्रमांकासाठी राखीव असल्याने अखेर वोडाफोनने तो बदलला आहे.
• त्याऐवजी 199 हा नवीन क्रमांक कॉलिंग आणि एसएमएससाठी ग्राहकांना वापरता येईल.
• हेल्पलाईन क्रमांक बदलण्यात आल्याचा एसएमएसही वोडाफोन कंपनीने ग्राहकांना पाठवला आहे.
• ग्राहकांनी कॉलिंग आणि एसएमएससाठी राष्ट्रीय आपत्काली क्रमांकापैकी 111 हा राखीव क्रमांक असल्याने हा हेल्पलाईन क्रमांक वापरू नये, असे वोडाफोनने कळवले आहे.
• 100 आणि 108 या आग, अपघात आणि वैद्यकीय मदतीशी संबंधित क्रमांकापैकी एक क्रमांक अंतिम करण्याचा सल्लाही अपेक्षित आहे.

• भालचंद्र नेमाडे यांना पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांच्या हस्ते सुवर्णमहोत्सवी ज्ञानपीठ पुरस्कार प्रदान केला.
• भारतीय साहित्य क्षेत्रातील सर्वोच्च पुरस्कार म्हणून ओळखल्या जाणाऱ्या ज्ञानपीठ पुरस्काराचे हे सुवर्णमहोत्सवी वर्ष.
• मराठी साहित्यिकांच्या मांदियाळीमध्ये हा पुरस्कार मिळविणारे भालचंद्र नेमाडे चौथे साहित्यिक आहेत. यापूर्वी वि. स. खांडेकर, कविवर्य कुसुमाग्रज, विंदा करंदीकर यांना हा पुरस्कार मिळाला आहे.
